fall in Kandern

fall in Kandern, originally uploaded by Rob Carey2.

October 31, 2010. There's no way I can even begin to capture the amazing colors in Kandern today. In all the years I've lived here, I don't think I've ever seen it more beautiful and more colorful. (Maybe I say that every year.) The powerful golds, sparkling yellows, and rich reds are unbelievable. I have attempted to capture just a hint of the beauty today with this little tree.

I often feel the same way when the seasons change -filled w/ thoughts of "I don't know if the fall has ever been this beautiful!"

You have documented the season very nicely. Another autumn beauty to appreciate: this painting! Thanks for sharing.

thanks- growing up in So. California, I didn't experience seasons, so I guess I appreciate them more now.

Maybe painting it makes the difference. I seem to be much more aware of the change of seasons, and the colours of autumn, since I started to paint them.
