Never Stop Drawing

I love this drawing. I wondered if you stopped at this point or continued with the pencil work on the right hand side. I kind of like this unfinished state.

Hi Rene, I think I decided to stop at this point. It would be fun to finish it, but I also like the unfinished look here.

Hi Rob - I love your work and your wonderful videos. What size nib do you use with your Lamy Safari pen? Many thanks!

Hello Mary, For this drawing I used a Pentel Hybrid Technica 03. For some of my video drawings, I use the very fine point nib that came with the Lamy pen. But recently I have been using the Pentel, as I can make very small lines that I can't make with the Lamy. For drawings with vegetation, the Lamy is better for me, as I need a variety of line thickness, which you can vary, depending on the amount of pressure you apply.

Beautiful drawing, so finely detailed! And a very important piece of advice on the title!

Congratulations on your excellent work.

(Oh, and following, of course!)

Thank you- I am currently in a season when I have less time and inspiration to draw, so this is for my own motivation as well. You have a wonderful blog, by the way- a very similar style of drawing too, I believe.

Wow, thank you for your kind words, Rob! A "similar style of drawing"? I wish!... Maybe if I practised a lot (underline "a lot")... Hmm, no, not even then would I be able to draw or paint like you!
